When I heard about The BrainDoc Test, I thought, "Now, this is a 'no brainer'. The test was easy to take and the digital assistant made everything go smoothly. I got my score and good advice to level up my brain health plan.

Fortunately, a friend turned me in for The BrainDoc test. It's objective, developed by real experts, and, best of all, I could take it at home where I would not be so nervous and I didn't have to tell anyone. So I did it. I took the BrainDoc Test and it was actually kind of fun. Best of all, I found out that I really was overreacting and my mistakes were probably normal. So now I worry a lot less and I am actually making fewer mistakes.

I couldn't get my mother tested. We live in different states and there just aren't many dementia experts where she lives. The BrainDoc test was a godsend. She took the test by herself and shared the report with me and her doctor. Now she takes memory medications and is doing great. We will repeat the test in a few months to see how she is doing.

My dad started making math mistakes a few years ago. Not a big deal for most people. But he was an accountant and financial planner who now lives alone since mom died. So this really got our attention. My sister and I started noticing that he was slipping in other ways, such as forgetting important facts, missing appointments, and not taking such good care of himself. His primary care doctor sent him for testing and the results came back that he probably had mild to moderate vascular dementia. They started him on memory medication and this seems to help....

...But we want to make sure that he is not losing ground any faster than normal. So we gave him The BrainDoc Test. It took less than 10 minutes. We did not help him with any answers but he appreciated us sitting with him while he took the test and he got through it easily. Results showed that he may be getting worse so we now have an appointment with his doctor for next week to take the next step in his treatment.

Our Story

Meet the team behind our brain health test and dementia prevention approach.

Two high school sweethearts separated for 35 years reconnect in midlife and discover that they have lived their lives in parallel.

He earned a PhD in clinical psychology, specialized in neuropsychology, and built the largest dementia testing practice in Western Massachusetts. After a career in business, she entered medical school at age 41 and completed residency training in internal medicine and psychiatry. Now, both board certified experts in brain science, these “Braindocs” combine a marriage of love with a passion about caring for others.

In 2005, after years of research, they developed the Memory Orientation Screening Test (MOST®). It condensed the results of extensive testing into a rapid test that doctors could use to measure their patients' thinking abilities accurately. They published their research in four peer reviewed journal articles, each demonstrating the power, consistency and reliability of their scores. Now, advances in technology make it possible for you to take a version of this medical grade test at home. The MOST now becomes The BrainDoc Test.
